Data Retention
How long we keep personal information, and how it is deleted.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary:
- Approved membership applications: for the duration of membership.
- Rejected or withdrawn applications: deleted automatically after 12 months (unless a certificate exists).
- Closed enquiries: deleted automatically after 24 months.
- Copies of sent emails: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Event registrations: kept until the event has taken place and follow-up is complete.
- Administrative audit logs: kept for 24 months for security and accountability.
- Analytics: aggregated counts only; daily visitor hashes are deleted after two days.
- Backups: encrypted-at-rest database backups are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
