Each department has a defined remit and a director accountable to the leadership.

The central administration of the Order.

Department II

Research into the history of the Illuminati and the Enlightenment.

Department III

Educational programmes, lectures and learning resources.

Department IV

Applications, member communications and member welfare.

Department V

Public communications, the website and the press office.

Department VI

Regional representatives and international activities.

Department VII

Standards, accountability and compliance.
