Our emblem — a seven-pointed star within a double ring, with a single point of light at its centre — was adopted by this organisation and is not a historical Illuminati symbol. The Bavarian order is not known to have used a seven-pointed star.
Each of the seven points stands for one of our Seven Principles: Knowledge, Wisdom, Unity, Discipline, Integrity, Enlightenment and Legacy. The double ring represents continuity and the preservation of knowledge; the point of light at the centre represents enlightenment.
The seven-pointed star (heptagram) has a long and varied history in many cultures; our use of it is our own.
